Ryan and the Technicolor Wardrobe
Short Stories and Essays

This blog is a collection of short stories and pop culture tangents that I’ve been accumulating since late 2008.  The stories are mostly autobiographical, some names have been names changed to protect the not-so-innocent.  I did a show based off of these stories on November 15, 2009 at the Curtis Theatre in Brea.  The first hour of the show was readings/comedic riffing on my stories and the second hour was a musical collaboration between myself, My Parasol and Clara Chung.  Clips from the show can be found here.   My music can be downloaded here.

Since then, I’ve been organizing these shows a couple of times a year.  We will be celebrating the 5 year anniversary of the Ryan and the Technicolor Wardrobe show at the end of 2013.

In June of 2012, I self-published my first book, Stories in the Key of Read. It follows me through my music-devoted 20s in a series of transparently-penned nonfiction shorts.  It is available in physical copy via Amazon and digitally via Kindle.  It will be available for the iBookstore in January/February of 2013.

Another way to keep up to date with news and announcements is to be a fan/friend on Facebook.
